The Accessible Web Awards aim to celebrate and promote accessible web design and development.

As a showcase of accessible websites, the awards will illustrate to website owners and developers what can be done to make websites more accessible and its importance.

Launching in 2012, the site will invite people to submit websites that have considered accessibility throughout their design and build. Every month websites will be awarded recognition for their accessibility features.

We want the awards to be a community lead project. We are looking for interested parties to write resources, moderate submissions and judge awards. If you would like to take part, please sign up to our mailing list and we’ll be in touch.
